Born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and raised in Poland from the age of ten, Maresz is a fiercely talented musician with an undeniable passion for expression. Her love for music began early, with memories of singing along to pop bands as a child, even while sitting in a high chair. At just six years old, Maresz began her formal training at a music school, where she took choir classes and started developing her voice.

Christina Aguilera was Maresz’s first major influence, inspiring her to experiment with powerful vocal styles. However, during choir lessons, a pivotal moment came when Maresz’s teacher told her to stop singing through her throat and to focus on perfecting technique. This experience sparked a deep commitment to mastering her voice and honing her craft.

At 13, Maresz began making covers and posting them on Soundcloud, drawn to the idea of bedroom pop as she spent much of her time in her room. When she was 16, she discovered the Eastern electronic music scene, particularly artists like Schema and Kedr Livanskiy, which inspired her to start producing music herself.

Now based in Paris, where she moved two years ago to pursue Social Sciences, Maresz continues to explore new artistic paths, blending her disciplined foundation with the passion and freedom that have always driven her music. At 21, she’s a powerful and evolving artist, creating a sound that’s both technically sharp and emotionally raw.
